Jesus is the only one who heals!
"My name is Ericdon and I am a Nigerian. I love playing football, and am hoping to make a career of it! In December last year, when I was playing football back in Nigeria, I sustained a serious knee injury. Some of the other players had to take me home and that was when my ordeal with different traditional doctors began.
Up to that point, I had plans to become a professional footballer, but the injury was a huge setback for me. Sometimes I cried to God to ask Him why He had allowed such a tragedy to befall me. I journeyed from one town to another, visiting traditional doctors, who on each occasion bandaged the knee after applying different local remedies. The last encounter I had was with a herbal doctor who tried every kind of leaf but to no avail. Then she resorted to a ritual. She told me to buy a chicken that she would use in the ritual because she had concluded that my enemies were after me and that was why the initial treatment was not effective!
That preceded my coming to Malaysia. When I arrived, I was still nursing the injury. It was unbearable and the knee was still tied up with a bandage. It had now been over four months since I played. On some occasions when I tried to play, the bandage would come off and cause excruciating pain. However, when I came for the Healing Rally on 19 May 2007 I was hopeful that God would touch me…and He did! As the prayer team prayed for me I was healed! However, after experiencing the healing, I went to play football again and there was another sharp pain! I knew the enemy was trying to prove the healing false, but I overcame by rejecting the pain and claiming my healing.
Now I am completely healed and fully back in the game! HE IS LORD!"
