Jesus looks after my mom!
"Hi! My name is Gaik Suan and I have a 74 year-old mother! I want to testify of God’s protection over my mom all these years. Some time at the end of last year, my family and my mom went for dinner late because we went to visit my brother in the hospital first. My husband parked his car by the roadside and we had to cross a small drain to get to the restaurant.
I pointed out to my mom to cross on a particular side as there was a way across the drain there. She objected, saying that it was much darker that side but before I could say or do anything, she took one step, tripped over the drain and fell flat onto the tar road! I cried out in dismay and thought it was going to be really bad. I was already thinking about twisted ankles, broken bones or even burst organs!
To my amazement, my mom picked herself up and walked into the restaurant insisting that she was alright! I just had about the biggest fright and didn’t believe her, so I checked for bruises and cuts and kept asking her over and over again if she had any pain anywhere. She reassured me that she was fine, and after checking she really did look fine except for some minor grazes which healed the next day!
I know this is not normal for a 74 year-old lady who falls flat on her face(!) and I want to give thanks to God for His protection. Praise be to God!"
